The Fair Oaks Chamber Brick Beautification Project ground breaking was scheduled for May 19. The brick project will replace the intersection at Fair Oaks Boulevard and California Street with personalized bricks and an oak tree mosaic of stone.

The intersection closure was delayed until May 26 and was supposed to be finished June 10. On June 10, there was still a lot left to be done.

Contrary to merchants' belief, there is an end in sight. If you squint hard enough, you can almost imagine how it will look.
